For all mothers.
We are on a mission to eliminate the motherhood penalty. We are breaking barriers that limit mothers, and building a world where they thrive in pursuit of health, career, and personal ambition.
Women are penalized for choosing motherhood.
Meet the Motherhood Penalty: the phenomenon by which women face economic, social, and health disadvantages after becoming mothers.

Current Initiatives
the “Childcare So they can get out there” grant
In partnership with Strava, we are proud to introduce the “Childcare So They Can Get Out There” Grant, aimed at helping mothers overcome one of the top barriers to race participation: access to childcare.
Strava is funding 50 grants of $2,000 each to offset the childcare, travel, and support costs that often stand between a mother and the starting line.
Grant applications are now closed, thank you to the many of you who shared this opportunity and emphasized the need for childcare support!
Motherhood Penalty in Sports Survey
We’re conducting a survey with Carleton University’s Health&Wellness Research Group to quantify the financial impact of motherhood on athletes’ careers.
THIS SURVEY IS LIVE: The survey takes 20-30 minutes to complete. You are eligible if:
You are a current or retired pro athlete
You are pregnant or postpartum, or experienced a miscarriage
You became a parent during your athletic career through any means, including as a non carrying, adoptive, surrogate, and/or a step parent
MomForward Movement
MomForward Movement is a community-led active meetup series to celebrate motherhood and advocate for maternal equity. We invite you, our community members, to dedicate a meetup (like a run club, walk, or pilates class) to the Series and fundraise for For All Mothers+ programs.
To date, we’ve welcomed 52 hosts and 1280+ participants to the Movement. Whether you’re a mom, partner, family member, or ally, you can help us help families.
