May 1-11, 2026
What if we told you that you could move in any way that empowers you while simultaneously advocating for a more equitable world for all mothers to thrive?
Welcome to the MomForward Movement.
Where the future of motherhood is set in motion.
This movement meets you where you are: in living rooms, in backyards, and at family-forward running stores across the country.
Take the pledge – join the celebration.
You don’t have to be a mom to shape the future of care, work, health, and equity. If you believe systems should work better for families, this movement is for you.
Together, we broadcast support for programs that advocate for moms and spotlight the realities of the Motherhood Penalty – the economic, social, and health disadvantages women face after becoming mothers.

Why Your Participation Matters
We’re counting, because your participation plays a tremendous role in our work with brand partners, race directors, and national governing organizations. Together, we can drive systemic change.
When they see the number of MomForward Movement participants advocating for family-forward infrastructure:
1.
Race directors consult us on how to create comfortable and private spaces for lactating mothers, family-friendly spaces, and more flexible deferral policies for pregnant and postpartum women.
2.
National Governing Bodies consult us on “return to sport” plans for their athletes postpartum to create psychological safety for athletes who want to have children, without fear of losing their livelihood or health coverage.
3.
Brands start to ask how they can help fund change through grants that bridge the financial gaps that exist and campaigns that rewrite the narrative for both professional and recreational mom-athletes.
4.
Athletes at all levels start to see what their careers and relationships to sport looks like as a future mother.
Young professionals start to see what they can advocate for in their own workplaces to protect their own career paths.
Check out all the fun we had last year celebrating moms!
52 hosts, 1280+ participants, $20k raised for maternal care … and family fun!
