Strava has pledged $300K to For All Mothers+ to help eliminate the Motherhood Penalty by funding maternal wellness research and launching the “Childcare So They Can Get Out There” grants program! 50 mothers will be selected to receive grants valued at $2,000 each to offset the disproportionate costs associated with childcare, travel & lodging, and support to train for and participate in recreational races this year. More than a race, these grants reflect Strava and For All Mothers+’ shared commitment to promote and support women in movement and sport so that they can receive the mental and physical health benefits of training for an event.
